1- Multispan:
For optimal land use, Gergy Daccache and Sons is producing Multitunnel or bitunnel (Multispan) greenhouses with high standards. Those greenhouses optimize the covered area by the absence of intervals between tunnels.
The frame is made of galvanized steel tubes sendzimir minimum 200g-275g/m2 in accordance with the requirements of DIN 17162.
The galvanized tubes have a diameter of 60, 55, 32, and 27mm with a thickness of 1.50 mm or 1.80 mm.
No welding is used. The pillars are anchored at 50cm depth in soil by concrete foundation; therefore providing a robust structure against wind.
Gergy Daccache and Sons Tunnels and Multispans are subjects to many options in order to maximize the productivity of the greenhouses.
The multispans are divided into 2 sections: the bitunnels formed of 2 spans and the multitunnels formed of 3 and more spans.
Different diameters and dimensions of galvanized tubes and/or squares used to meet any climate conditions like wind, velocity and direction, rainfall and possibility of snowing, also we can add many options to these multispans to be suitable for the crops in questions:
- Vertical side
- Gutters and Y plates
- Doors
- Roof and side openings (mechanical or motorized)
- Heating and cooling system
- Shading system

a) Vertical Side:
The greenhouse vertical side is characterized by full utilization of the area available, with 15% more space for planting, which increases the production about 15%. Different options can be added to this type of greenhouses (double doors, side openings with insect nets, heating and cooling systems…)

b) Gutters and Y plate:
All over the greenhouse a gutter is installed between the spans for the water circulation without any effects on the structure. The arches are joint together on the upper side by galvanized tube 32mm, 1.5mm and on the lower side (on the gutter ) by Y plate that joins the corresponding pillar to the left and the right arch and the gutter together. NO weld is used in our structure “Y” Plates are made of two galvanized metal plates, 1.8 mm Thickness These plates link four main elements of structure: Pillars, arch section, tie beams & gutters.

c) Doors:
The greenhouse door can be a sliding door 3m width or a SAS door, made from galvanized steel, and installed as prevention of pests’ entrees to the greenhouse.
It can be covered by Polyethylene, polycarbonate, fiberglass or just by an anti-insect net.

d) Roof and Side opening (mechanical or motorized):
Roof or side openings can be manual or motorized, to minimize the humidity and temperature of the greenhouse using the chimney effect. In order to prevent the insect entrees from the openings we should cover it by an anti-insect net. Roof openings can be fixed and covered with Anti-insect nets (always opened).

e) Heating and cooling System:
e.1. Heating System: Air heating units can be installed in each greenhouse; calculations could be done in order to have always the appropriate temperature to the crop. Bases on the calculations for each unit air blowers can be installed for additional air circulation. Those heater have a double way power: diesel or natural gas, they will be also equipped by a diesel reservoir.

e.2. Cooling System: This system is based on decreasing the temperature while taking off calories from the inside of the greenhouse using the air flow across the wet pad from one side and going out from other side using the exhaust fans. To install this system we need the following materials:
- Exhaust Fans
- Gutters for pad
- Pump
- Complete pimping system for pad, and reservoir

f) Shading syste:
Internal shading system can be used to reduce temperature during the mid-time of the day. It can be opened and closed automatically according to orders given from the automation system after data collected from sensors (temperature sensor or lux meter ) as well as manually. The shading system used in Daccache Company is European and made of aluminum screen (45%, 50%, 60%, 80% ...) The aluminum screen reflects sunlight while its open structure allows airflow and cooling of the greenhouse, during the night it helps reduce radiated heat loss from the plants, minimizing the formation of dew on the crop and the risk of fungal diseases.
